MY DISCUSSION FORUM

Hello. My name is Stanley Hetz, and I have obtained ballot access in California's upcoming 2008 primary to run for United States President. I believe that civil liberties and worker rights should be expanded. Stanley Hetz is a very intelligent, well-spoken man. He has strong opinions about the way the world should be, and he sticks to his convictions. Stan doesn't give up on his long term goals even when things get rough.

Few people would argue that Congress is perfect just as it is. Rather, most voters recognize that any government needs regular infusions of "new blood" to shake things up and bring new ideas within new heads. All too often, people long entrenched in power are content to rely upon old sources for the information and ideas upon which they base public policy. But Stanley Hetz appreciates that a lot of voices have not been heard, and that minor parties may have new approaches that we need to consider. The major parties have no monopoly on wisdom, and Hetz understands that if nothing we have tried to date works, we'd better look around for something new, even if it comes from third parties.

Stan Hetz is a Democrat but one who sees the value of other points of view in the political arena. To prove this he hosts a site where third party and independent candidates can voice their opinions. Most states, including Pennsylvania, have repressive election laws that make it very hard for anyone but Democrats or Republicans to be on the ballot. That is one reason that America has the lowest voting turnout of any 'free' nation in the world.

If Stan is elected he will do all he can to open the political process to all. That is a value worth supporting.

To whom it may concern,

I am writing this on behalf of Stanley Hetz. I have known Stan over a period of approximately 10 years corresponding through e-mails, and reading the various articles that he has written. I find Stan to be very knowledgeable, informative, and at times humorous. Being a person in the public sector such as I am, Stan has never asked anything of me as most fans would but rather has helped me by making me aware of a few various situations. I feel that this demonstrates a great deal of his integrity.
